- 3 slices bacon or more and drippings
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1/4 c. yellow label syrup
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- dash of Tabasco sauce
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
Method
- Fry bacon until crisp; drain.
- Saute onion in bacon drippings. Combine all ingredients, except bacon, in greased 1 1/2-quart casserole dish and mix well.
- Top with bacon.
- Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.
- Serves 6 to 8.
