Ingredients

  • 6 slices bacon
  • 3/4 c. onions, chopped
  • 2 (16 oz.) cans pork and beans in tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 Tbsp. catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard

Method

  • Preheat oven to 350°.
  • Cook bacon until crisp.
  • Remove bacon from skillet.
  • Crumble bacon and set aside.
  • Cook onions in bacon drippings until tender.
  • Stir in pork and beans, brown sugar, catsup, Worcestershire sauce and mustard.
  • Turn into a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  • Bake uncovered for 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 hours.
  • Stir in bacon.
  • Let stand before serving.
