Ingredients
- 1 c. molasses
- 3 onions, grated or finely chopped
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/2 lb. lean ham or bacon, diced
- dried beans
Method
- Rinse beans, then soak overnight.
- Drain.
- Place beans in a bean pot or deep baking dish with the molasses, onions, brown sugar, dry mustard and bacon.
- Bake slowly at 225° for 4 hours.
