Ingredients
- 3 to 4 lb. spareribs
- salt
- 1 large onion
- 1 large lemon
- 1 c. catsup
- 1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. Tabasco sauce
- 1 1/2 c. water
Method
- Salt ribs.
- Place in shallow roasting pan, meat side up. Roast at 450° for 30 minutes.
- Drain fat.
- Top each piece with a slice of onion and a slice of lemon.
- Combine remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Pour over ribs. Lower oven to 350° and bake 1 1/2 hours.
- Baste every 15 minutes. Makes 4 servings.
