Ingredients
- 8 medium sized apples
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 1/4 stick margarine
- 1 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Method
- Cut corn from cob and
- scrape
- cob.
- Put
- in heavy pan. Add some bacon grease and a small chunk of butter.
- Add enough water to keep from sticking.
- Bring
- corn
- to
- a boil and add salt and sugar to taste.
- Cook down to desired consistency.
