Ingredients

  • 1 pound Ground Beef
  • 4 strips Bacon
  • 1/2 whole Onion, Chopped
  • 1/2 cups Cheese (whatever Kind You Like)

Method

  • Form meat into 4 patties and set aside.
  • In a pan, brown the bacon.
  • Remove (save the fat in pan) and set on a plate with paper towels to blot off the fat.
  • Once cooled, crumble into small pieces.
  • In the reserved bacon fat in the same pan, cook onion until brown.
  • Remove and combine with the bacon.
  • Place the bacon mixture on one patty, followed by cheese.
  • Top with another patty.
  • Repeat with the remaining two.
  • Place on a hot grill and cook to your liking, flipping once.
  • Makes 2 burgers.
