Ingredients
- 1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts
- 1 lb. bacon, cut in thirds
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. ketchup
Method
- Cut water chestnuts in 1/2.
- Wrap each with 1/3 strip of bacon. Serve with wooden toothpick.
- Bake in large shallow dish for 35 minutes at 350°.
- Drain all grease.
- Combine sugar and ketchup and pour over chestnuts and bacon.
- Bake for 30 to 45 minutes at 300°.
