- 1/3 cup honey
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
- romaine lettuce
- cheddar cheese, shredded
- bacon, fried, drained and cut in small pieces (Imitation bacon bits may be used)
Method
- Mix the first eight ingredients.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Add the shredded cheese and bacon bits to the Romain lettuce and toss.
- Top with the salad dressing.
