Ingredients
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 heaping Tbsp. flour
- pinch of salt
- 2 c. milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/3 c. fresh lemon juice
Method
- Cook all ingredients except lemon juice in top of double boiler until it begins to thicken.
- Add lemon juice and cook a little longer.
- Cool before pouring into baked pie shell.
- Top with stiffly beaten egg whites and brown in 350° oven.
