Ingredients
- 2 lb. beef stew meat, cubed
- 6 carrots, cut in chunks
- 3 stalks celery, cut on slant
- 6 potatoes, cut in 1/4 inch pieces
- 3 small onions
- 2 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. Minute tapioca or cornstarch
- 1 (12 oz.) can V-8 juice
Method
- Put all ingredients in 9 x 13-inch pan (Pyrex or Corning) and cover with foil (over and under) so no steam escapes.
- Bake at 300° for 4 hours.
