Ingredients
- 3 oz. Blue cheese
- 1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. butter, melted
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can asparagus spears, drained
- 20 slices white bread, crust removed
Method
- Use a rolling pin to flatten each slice of bread.
- Mix cheese and egg in mixing bowl and spread evenly over bread and edges. Place asparagus on bread.
- Roll up and secure with 3 toothpicks. Dip in melted butter.
- Place on baking sheet and freeze. Partially thaw rolls and cut each roll into 3 equal parts.
- Bake at 375° for 15 minutes.
- Yield: 60 bites.
