Ingredients

  • 6 cups torn romaine lettuce
  • 1 (8-ounce) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
  • 1 (11-ounce) can mandarin oranges, drained
  • 1/4 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dark sesame oil

Method

  • Combine lettuce, water chestnuts, and oranges in a large bowl; set aside.
  • Combine vinegar and oil in a small bowl, stirring well with a wire whisk. Pour vinegar mixture over salad mixture, tossing well. Serve immediately, or cover and chill up to 1 hour, if desired.
