Ingredients

  • 1 medium Flank Steak
  • marinade:
  • 1/4c. olive oil
  • 1/2c. soy sauce
  • 1T dark sesame oil
  • 1T ginger minced
  • 1T garlic minced
  • 1 jalepeno minced (seeds optional)
  • salsa:
  • 1 fresh pineapple
  • 1 jalepeno diced
  • juice from 1 lime
  • 1/2 red bell pepper
  • 2T cilantro
  • Boston bib lettuce

Method

  • mix marinade ingredients and marinate meat 8-12 hours
  • grill slices of pinapple until caramelized. dice cooked pineapple and mix with other salsa ingredients.
  • grill flank steak to medium. slice across grain into 1/4" slices.
  • serve steak in lettuce leaves with salsa on top.
