Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1 c. sour cream
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. apricot or peach jam
  • powdered sugar glaze

Method

  • Blend butter, sour cream, flour and salt; chill for 1 hour or overnight.
  • Divide into 2 parts; roll out each into a rectangle about 12 x 6-inches.
  • Spread dough with about 1/2 cup jam lengthwise to within an inch of edges.
  • Fold dough in half lengthwise and seal edges.
  • Place on a cookie sheet and bake at 400° for 10 minutes, then at 350° for 20 minutes.
  • Cool; drizzle with powdered sugar glaze.
  • Cut into 1-inch strips to serve.
