Ingredients

  • 1 large can apricots and juice (2 1/2 tall can)
  • 1 c. flour
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. oleo or butter

Method

  • Mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder and egg until egg and flour are lumpy. Butter a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
  • Fill with apricots.
  • Melt the 3/4 cup oleo or butter.
  • Sprinkle flour mixture on top of fruit.
  • Pour the butter or oleo over mixture. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.
