Ingredients

  • 2 (6 oz.) strawberry Jell-O
  • 3 1/2 c. water
  • 2 (10 oz.) frozen strawberries
  • 1 (No. 303) can crushed pineapple (20 oz.), drained
  • 4 bananas, chopped fine
  • 1 pt. sour cream
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar

Method

  • Dissolve Jell-O in 2 cups boiling water.
  • Add strawberries and mix.
  • Add pineapple, 1 1/2 cups cold water and bananas.
  • Pour 1/2 in 9 x 13-inch pan.
  • Let set.
  • Mix cream and sugar and spread over set Jell-O.
  • Put on nuts.
  • Gently pour on other half of Jell-O mixture.
  • Serves 12 to 15.
