Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 3/4 c. water
- 3/4 c. applesauce
- 1 egg
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 1/2 c. catsup
Method
- Mix all ingredients together well.
- Form into balls, roll in flour, then brown in oil.
- Place in a covered casserole.
- Mix catsup and water and pour over meatballs.
- Bake at 350° for one hour.
- Makes 20 to 25 meatballs.
