Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 head cabbage, shredded or torn
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can water
  • 1 c. Minute rice

Method

  • Put cabbage in boiling water; cook until slightly soft. Drain.
  • Brown ground beef and onions until onions are clear and beef loses its pink.
  • Drain.
  • Add tomato soup, tomato sauce and water to meat.
  • Prepare Minute rice as directed on package.
  • Add meat and tomato mixture.
  • In an 11 x 15-inch baking pan, layer cabbage and meat-tomato mixture; repeat once more.
  • Cover with aluminum foil; bake in a 350° oven for 1 hour.
