Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 4 Tbsp. oleo
  • 4 apples, peeled and cored
  • biscuit dough
  • softened oleo
  • sugar
  • cinnamon

Method

  • Bring the first 5 ingredients to a boil in saucepan.
  • Continue to boil until the mixture has reduced to half.
  • Peel and core the apples.
  • Grate the apples.
  • Make a biscuit dough and roll out to 1/2-inch thick.
  • Spread with softened oleo.
  • Sprinkle with sugar. Spread grated apples on dough; sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar on top of apples.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
  • Roll up like a cinnamon roll. Slice 1-inch slices and place in a greased baking dish.
  • Pour syrup mixture over the rolls.
  • Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
