Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. oleo
- 4 apples, peeled and cored
- biscuit dough
- softened oleo
- sugar
- cinnamon
Method
- Bring the first 5 ingredients to a boil in saucepan.
- Continue to boil until the mixture has reduced to half.
- Peel and core the apples.
- Grate the apples.
- Make a biscuit dough and roll out to 1/2-inch thick.
- Spread with softened oleo.
- Sprinkle with sugar. Spread grated apples on dough; sprinkle 1/4 cup sugar on top of apples.
- Sprinkle cinnamon on top.
- Roll up like a cinnamon roll. Slice 1-inch slices and place in a greased baking dish.
- Pour syrup mixture over the rolls.
- Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
