Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 2/3 c. butter flavor shortening
- 1/4 c. cold water
Method
- Mix flour and salt in a bowl.
- Cut in oil and shortening until small particles appear.
- I prefer to use two butter knives for the job.
- Sprinkle with half of water and mix with fork.
- Add rest of water and mix.
- Press into two balls and roll on floured surface to make top and bottom crusts for 9-inch pie.
