Ingredients
- 2 pie crusts *
- 6 c. apples, pared and sliced (Courtland or Granny Smith)
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/8 c. Port wine
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 egg yolk plus 1 tsp. water, beaten
- sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/3 c. raisins, plumped
Method
- *Flour 1 side of bottom crust and place in pie pan, flour side down.
