Ingredients
- 4 Golden Delicious apples
- 2 pkg. crescent rolls (8 in each roll)
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon or more
- 1 1/2 sticks butter, melted
- 1 1/2 c. Mountain Dew
Method
- Mix sugar and cinnamon together and set aside. Peel and quarter apples. Wrap crescent roll around apple, starting with wide end.
- Place in a 9 x 14-inch pan. Pour melted butter over dumplings, then sprinkle sugar and cinnamon mixture over dumplings. Pour Mountain Dew between dumplings. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Makes 16 dumplings.
