Ingredients

  • 5 apples, peeled and cut into thick slices
  • 1 can Hungry Jack flaky biscuits
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 3/4 c. white sugar
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 c. water

Method

  • Take each biscuit and roll flat.
  • Cut in half.
  • Take each apple slice and wrap biscuit completely around it.
  • Makes 20 dumplings.
  • Grease Pyrex dish and place wrapped apples in dish close together.
  • Take 1 stick of margarine and dot over top of biscuits.
  • Mix sugars, cinnamon, vanilla and water together. Pour over top of dumplings.
  • Bake 40 minutes in 350° oven.
