Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. self-rising flour
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. cloves (optional)
- 1 c. oil
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. nuts
- 3 c. apples
Method
- Sift flour, cinnamon and cloves into large mixing bowl.
- Add sugar and nuts and mix well.
- Beat eggs in small bowl.
- Add oil all at once and beat well.
- Add 1/3 of egg and oil mixture to dry ingredients at a time and mix after each addition.
- Peel and dice apples and add to mixture; mix well.
- Bake in 13 x 9 1/4 x 2-inch pan which has been greased and floured for 1 hour at 350°.
