Ingredients
- 2 granny smith apples
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 10 12 inches slice goat cheese
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 10 basil leaves
Method
- Using a sharp knife, slice apples into 5 slices from each of two sides of the core, yielding 20 round slices.
- In a bowl, gently toss apples with lemon juice to coat and set aside.
- Place half of the apple slices on a work surface and place a round of goat cheese in the middle of each.
- Garnish with pepper and a basil leaf.
- Cover with another slice of apple and gently press together.
