Ingredients
- 2 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 c. butter
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. zambucca (liquor)
Method
- Cut together with a pastry blender the flour and butter.
- Stir in the sugar and baking powder.
- Add to this mixture, eggs, milk, lemon juice and zambucca.
- Form dough and chill 1/2 hour.
- Roll into ropes and tie in knots.
- Bake at 325° for 15 to 20 minutes. Ice with the following.
