Ingredients
- 1 pkg. quick acting dry yeast
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 c. warm water
- 2 c. Bisquick (either original or reduced fat)
- 1/4 c. milk
Method
- Dissolve yeast and sugar in the warm water in a medium mixing bowl.
- Mix in the baking mix and milk until dough forms.
- Smooth into a ball on breadboard dusted with baking mix.
- Knead at least 10 times.
- Roll 1/2-inch thick and cut with a biscuit cutter dipped in baking mix.
- Put on an ungreased cookie sheet and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes or doubled in size. Preheat oven to 425°.
- Bake 6 to 8 minutes until golden brown. Yield:
- 9 to 12 buns.
