Ingredients
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 1/4 c. oil
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. warm water
- 5 c. plain flour
- 1 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. salt
Method
- Dissolve yeast in warm water. Combine with remaining ingredients.
- Mix well.
- To bake, roll dough to about 1/2-inch thickness. Cut with biscuit cutter or drop by spoon onto baking sheet that has been sprayed lightly with nonstick cooking spray. Bake at 400° for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Dough can be stored in the refrigerator and used as needed.
