Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. milk
- 2/3 c. sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2/3 c. flour
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar
- butter (for greasing)
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- Place milk, sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour, almonds, extract and brown sugar in food processor.
- Pulse 5 to 10 seconds at a time, stopping to scrape sides of bowl until mixture is blended but not overprocessed.
- Pour batter into a lightly greased 9-inch baking dish or pie plate.
- Bake 30 minutes until fluffy and brown.
- A knife will come out clean.
- Sprinkle with brown sugar and cool slightly before serving.
