Ingredients
- 1 lb. unsalted butter
- 3 c. brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tsp. soda
- 1 1/2 c. chocolate chips
Method
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Cream the butter until smooth.
- Add the sugars.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla.
- Sift the flour, salt and soda.
- Beat into the butter mixture.
- Add the chocolate chips. Drop 2 to 3 tablespoon of batter onto greased baking sheet 2 inches apart.
- Bake 8 minutes.
- Remove from pans with spatula and cool on racks.
- Makes about 30 cookies.
