- 100 ml Granulated sugar
- 1 heaping tablespoon Water
- 200 ml Heavy cream
Method
- Leave heavy cream at room temperature.
- Put granulated sugar and water in a bowl and microwave for 3 ~ 4 minutes.
- Adjust the time according on your own microwave.
- Take the bowl out when the sugar water turns brown and is steaming.
- Now pour in the heavy cream little by little as you stir.
- Strain caramel sauce through a strainer to ensure a smooth texture.
- If you use a small amount of boiling water instead of heavy cream, you'll have a clear caramel sauce suitable for puddings.
- But please be careful when you add the boiling water as it will splatter.
