Ingredients
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c. peanut butter (smooth or crunchy)
- 1 tsp. soda
Method
- Cream the Crisco until soft.
- Add the 2 sugars gradually to the Crisco until smooth.
- Have the brown sugar packed down.
- Add the whole egg all at once.
- Add the peanut butter.
- In a separate bowl, sift the flour and soda together, then add to first mixture. Roll into about 1-inch balls.
- Place on unoiled baking sheet. Flatten with a fork both ways on cookie dough and bake in a 425° oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Makes about 30 small cookies.
