Ingredients

  • 1 serving Cooked rice
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Japanese leek, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp Weipa
  • 1 Sesame oil
  • 1 Salt, pepper, black pepper

Method

  • Beat the egg well.
  • Add the Weipa to the egg.
  • (It's okay if it's in a clump.)
  • Heat a frying pan and add the olive oil.
  • Pour in the egg.
  • On high heat, use chopsticks to stir around the egg while breaking apart the Weipa.
  • Once the egg is half cooked, add the rice.
  • Cook the rice while breaking it apart.
  • Once it becomes crumbly, add the leek.
  • Taste and season with salt and pepper (not listed) to finish.
  • Top with black pepper for an adult flavor that goes well with beer.
  • I used assorted grain rice for the main photo.
  • The color isn't very nice, but the taste is not affected.
