Ingredients

  • 1/2 head iceberg lettuce, chopped or torn
  • 1/2 head cauliflower, cut in very small flowerets
  • 1/2 can sliced water chestnuts
  • 1/2 lb. cooked bacon, broken into small pieces
  • 1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese
  • 16 oz. jar mayonnaise (reduced-calorie)
  • 1/3 c. sugar
  • Parmesan cheese

Method

  • In large bowl, layer all but last 3 ingredients.
  • Repeat layers.
  • Spread mayonnaise over top and seal to edge of bowl. Sprinkle sugar over mayonnaise.
  • Sprinkle Parmesan cheese over sugar.
  • Let chill, covered, for 24 hours.
  • Toss when ready to serve.
  • Topping makes dressing.
