Ingredients
- 2 1/2 or 3 lb. pork roast
- 3 or 4 lb. beef roast
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 2 cans beef broth
- flour
- salt and pepper
- vegetable oil
Method
- Salt and pepper both roasts.
- Roll both roasts in flour to coat.
- Brown in oil in roasting pan or large Dutch oven.
- Remove roasts.
- Make gravy in pan using flour, soup mix and beef broth. Return roasts to pan; cover and cook in oven at 300° until done. If gravy becomes too thick, you may thin with water.
