Ingredients
- 6 to 8 cube steaks, serving pieces size
- 1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
- 1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 (10 oz.) jar beef gravy
Method
- Flour steak and brown on both sides.
- Put into a greased 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
- Drain mushrooms, reserve liquid.
- Add enough water to the liquid to make 1 cup.
- On top of steak, sprinkle soup mix, mushrooms and onions.
- Then pour on the juice and gravy. Cover with foil and bake at 250° for 4 hours.
- Feeds 4 to 6 people.
