Ingredients
- 4 medium sized zucchini
- 1 medium turnip
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 green pepper
- 2 stalk celery
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. white vinegar
- 3 Tbsp. salad oil
- 1/4 tsp. salt
Method
- Do not peel zucchini; shred.
- Peel turnip and shred.
- Chop onions, pepper and celery.
- Put vegetables in a bowl.
- Combine sugar, vinegar, oil and salt.
- Mix well and pour over vegetables. Cover and chill for 1 hour or as long as 2 days.
- Serves 6 to 8.
