Ingredients

  • 1 medium size head cabbage, shredded
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can pimientos, drained
  • 1/2 c. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • 1/2 c. honey
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil

Method

  • Mix cabbage, onion, pepper and pimientos; set aside.
  • Combine honey, oil, vinegar, sugar and salt.
  • Boil hard 1 minute.
  • Pour over vegetables, mixing well.
  • Pack in a jar with a lid. Refrigerate for 3 days.
  • Good until used up entirely.
