Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 lb fresh ground chuck roast I ask Butcher to grind meat for me
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 diced onion
  • 1/2 diced bell pepper
  • 1 diced fresh jalapeno
  • 6 medium minced garlic
  • 2 tbsp cumin
  • 2 tbsp tomato chicken bullion knorr brand
  • 6 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Season salt I use johnnys or larrys
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 1 tsp nutmeg
  • 2 can 28 oz each diced tomatoes
  • 2 cup chicken broth or water
  • 2 lb pinto beans cooked

Method

  • brown meat and vegies in olive oil till soft add dry spices toss then the tomatoes and beans mix add broth and cook about 1 hour till all ingredients come together.
  • The longer the better.
