Ingredients
- 2 c. bite-size Shredded Wheat
- 1/4 c. low calorie margarine, melted
- 2 tsp. celery seed
- 1/2 tsp. ground thyme
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 3 c. popcorn (no fat), popped
- 1/3 c. salted roasted peanuts
Method
- Combine cereal and nuts in 2-quart baking dish.
- Combine margarine and next 4 ingredients and pour over cereal mixture. Toss to coat.
- Bake at 350° for 15 minutes; stir every 5 minutes. Remove from oven; immediately add popcorn.
- Toss gently to coat; let cool completely.
- Store in an airtight container.
- Yields 5 cups (76 calories per 1/3 cup).
