Ingredients
- 1/2 lb. flour
- 1/2 lb. butter
- 1 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 egg yolks, beaten
- 2 Tbsp. wine
- 2 Tbsp. sour cream
Method
- Mix flour and sugar; add butter.
- Mix as for pie crust.
- Make a well; add egg yolks, wine and sour cream.
- Mix dough; let set in refrigerator overnight.
- Roll out very thin.
- Cut into 3-inch squares and spread with jam or walnut filling.
- Roll into crescent shape; brush with egg yolk and bake in a moderate oven until golden brown.
