Ingredients

  • 2/3 cups Sugar
  • 1/4 Tablespoons Salt
  • 2 cups Dry White Wine, A Decent Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1/2 cups Lemon Juice
  • 2 packages (1/4 Oz. Packet) Unflavored Gelatin (Knox)
  • 1 cup Cold Water
  • Freshly Whipped Cream, To Serve

Method

  • Combine sugar, salt, wine and lemon juice in a saucepan. Gently heat but do not boil.
  • Mix gelatin with the cold water, dissolving completely. Add gelatin mixture to heated wine mixture and stir until combined.
  • Pour into a pretty bowl or mold and refrigerate for several hours until firm. Serve with freshly whipped cream.
