Ingredients
- 1 12 cups whole wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 cup apple, chopped
- 34 cup 2% low-fat milk
- 2 egg whites
Method
- Combine flour, sugar, and baking powder in a medium mixing bowl.
- Combine applesauce, apple, and milk in a seperate bowl.
- Slightly beat egg whites and add to wet mixture, mixing well.
- Making a well in the middle of the dry ingredients, pour wet mixture in all at once.
- Mix just until moist.
- Cook on 300 degree griddle and enjoy!
