Ingredients

  • 1 12 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 cup apple, chopped
  • 34 cup 2% low-fat milk
  • 2 egg whites

Method

  • Combine flour, sugar, and baking powder in a medium mixing bowl.
  • Combine applesauce, apple, and milk in a seperate bowl.
  • Slightly beat egg whites and add to wet mixture, mixing well.
  • Making a well in the middle of the dry ingredients, pour wet mixture in all at once.
  • Mix just until moist.
  • Cook on 300 degree griddle and enjoy!
