Ingredients
- 2 + 1 c. flour*
- 2 Tbsp. (heaping) baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 to 1/2 c. nuts (pine nuts, sunflower seeds, walnuts or pecans)
- 2 Tbsp. oil (almond, sesame or vegetable)
- 2 to 3 eggs**
- 2 c. buttermilk (approximately; light buttermilk works fine)
Method
- *Can be made up of about 3/4 cup white flour, 1 cup wheat flour and 1/4 cup oatmeal and//or oat bran or wheat germ.
