Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. flour
- salt
- pepper
- approximately 12 to 16 oz. half and half
Method
- Over low-medium heat, melt butter.
- Add flour, stirring continuously until mixed.
- Add small amount of half and half (about 4 ounces); mix until smooth.
- When this starts to thicken, add other 4 ounces half and half.
- When this starts to thicken, add another 4 ounces half and half.
- Add salt and pepper.
- Set aside. Do not get too thick, but thick.
