Ingredients

  • 1/2 green pepper, diced *
  • 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce *
  • 1 (8 oz.) can tomato paste *
  • 2 envelopes spaghetti sauce mix*
  • 1 large onion, diced *
  • 1 lb. lasagna noodles
  • 16 oz. cottage cheese
  • 1 qt. tomatoes *
  • 1 tsp. garlic *
  • 2 lb. ground chuck *
  • 1 small can mushrooms *
  • dash of oregano *
  • 16 oz. Mozzarella cheese
  • Parmesan cheese

Method

  • In sheet pan, cover bottom with sauce, 1 layer of noodles, sauce, Parmesan cheese, cottage cheese (4 spoonfuls), Mozzarella cheese (3 slices) and repeat layers until pan is almost full. Cook at 350° until cheese melts.
  • Don't cover.
  • Makes 2 pans.
