Ingredients

  • vegetable cooking spray
  • 1 lb. freshly ground raw turkey
  • 3 Tbsp. minced onion
  • 2 c. water
  • 1 1/2 tsp. dried Italian seasoning
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1 (6 oz.) can no-salt-added tomato paste
  • 4 oz. spaghetti (uncooked)
  • 1 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  • Coat a large nonstick skillet with cooking spray.
  • Place over medium-high heat until hot.
  • Add turkey and onion; cook over medium heat until turkey is lightly browned, stirring to crumble. Drain and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Wipe drippings from skillet with a paper towel.
  • Add turkey mixture, water and next 4 ingredients to skillet.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
