Ingredients
- 3 c. water chestnuts, drained
- 1 lb. bacon, cut in thirds
- 1 small bottle ketchup
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 1/3 c. light brown sugar
Method
- Wrap chestnuts in thirds of bacon.
- Line cookie sheet or broiler with foil.
- Bake 20 minutes at 350°.
- Turn and bake 10 minutes.
- Combine ketchup and sugars for sauce.
- Place chestnuts in sauce and bake 25 minutes at 350°.
- Can be frozen before baking or after.
