Ingredients

  • 12 oz ground beef
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 None orange
  • 1 bunch watercress (10 oz), trimmed
  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 8 None dried dates, pitted and thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Method

  • Heat an oiled medium skillet on high heat. Cook beef and cumin, stirring, until browned.
  • Meanwhile, segment the orange over a small bowl and reserve 2 tbsp juice.
  • Combine the beef mixture, orange segments and reserved juice with the remaining ingredients in a large bowl. Season to taste.
