Ingredients

  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 1/2 c. oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. flour
  • 1 jar or can nut filling (Baker's)
  • 1 c. chopped nuts
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 large can milk

Method

  • Beat all ingredients together in large bowl for 3 minutes. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
  • Use an angel food pan that the bottom comes out.
  • Do not grease pan.
  • Leave in pan for 1 hour to cool.
  • Loosen edges and remove.
  • Can be sliced thin as nut bread or cut slices in quarters as cookies.
